I have been on two DUKW rides, luckily not in WWII. Several tourists cities use them for tour rides. Toured Hot Springs, AR and Memphis, TN this way.

Hoping to ride on the "tourist version" someday. At the Marine Museum they have some great video of this so you feel like you were there.
