Here we go again. Like most epic stories, Dune cannot be translated to film literally. I enjoyed David Lynch's version, but not so much as the story that played in my head as I read the book. And no, I don't expect this one will measure up as well, but I'll go see it...

The book has too much detail to capture in one movie . Peter Jackson making the Lord of the Rings series was the only time I was happy with a books adaption into a movie . It's unfortunate that Peter Jackson doesn't love the book " Dune " .
