Dutch Police Seize Two VPN Servers, But Without Explaining... Why?

An interesting article. The world being what it is now, I wonder if the Police had to disclose anything about the information that they were seeking. I don't know Dutch law, so I don't know what they would have needed to subpoena the servers in Holland. Could be they went to a judge and said "but we want it." and the judge said "fine, off you go." Could be that they had a well laid out case that hinged upon finding the data they are looking for in the servers. The reality is that we will never know. This is what scares me about the USA Patriot Act. It allows for less transparency when one is suspected of a crime.
