I was reading an article yesterday, what I found more amazing than what nations are procuring, is some of the antiquated weapon systems that are employed in air forces around the world.

PO3 Steven Sherrill As much as I would like to see our F16s flying around Europe, the Gripen is a much better option for these countries. Similar flight profiles and capabilities with a MUCH shorter supply chain and support services.

It seems that Putin is good for something. He's convinced Europe to start preparing to defend itself instead of merely relying on the US defense umbrella. That's something we were never able to do
