COVID is absolutely political. We are being bombarded with disinfo and misinfo about it, much of it from our own leadership and the vaccine makers.
The disease is real, the response is fake. In 2020, the bulk of the media was saying a rushed vaccine was a bad idea, as soon as Biden took the white house it turned to "just get the Vaccine," the makers admitted they with held the release because of the election, the US government is in mandating the vaccine for as many people as it can, while providing it for free thanks to your tax dollars, it has gone from 2 shots to 3 all paid for with taxes, now they ate putting feelers out to require 4-5 shots and a twice daily pill....who pays for that? Tax dollars. Now take a guess how many members of the CDC, FDA and especially Congresss have financial ties to these companies. Faucci does! Friends and family!
My job for the Army is PSYOP. I see a massive ammount of it wrapped up in COVID. The objective seems to basically be "shut up and do what we tell you."

SSG (Join to see) - The "rushed vaccine is a bad idea" was before most of the 600k+ American deaths. The "get us the vaccine" was after most of them. I can see that narrative shift being unrelated to politics. But to play along with your assertions, there was also a notable narrative shift on the opposite side of the political spectrum from touting the merits of "Operation Warp Speed" to undermining the safety and efficacy of the vaccine created by that same Operation Warp Speed. So yes, the virus is intertwined with today's politics.

Where the issue comes to a head with RP is that the Community Manager has specifically put out guidance to not use that tag for political posts. So, in this particular instance, a RP member can decide "I'll distribute the information without political spin" (and the Coronavirus tag would be appropriate) or "I'll distribute it with a political spin" (then the Coronavirus tag would not be appropriate). Since this member used a political tag and used political spin, the Coronavirus tag was removed. If members don't like that, then fine. However, as one of the senior Member Admins, I will adjust the post's visibility in accordance with the Community Manager's guidance.

LTC Kevin B. The only flaw I find in your statement is that finding anything outside of a clinical study that isnt semi-, or completely political is near impossible.

SSG (Join to see) - I've seen lots of posts here on RP using the Covid tag that sufficiently steer clear of political spin. That's not at all "near impossible".
