Thank you, my friend SGT John " Mac " McConnell for sharing the music video of young drummer Sina performing a cover of the Byrds classic song "Eight Miles High"
"It was written by vocalist, rhythm guitarist Gene Clark, vocalist, lead guitarist Jim (later Roger) McGuinn, and vocalist, rhythm guitarist David Crosby. It was recorded at Columbia Studios in Hollywood on Jan 24 & 25, 1966 and first released as a single on Mar 14, 1966."
Excellent drum cover by Sina.
"Eight Miles High" written by Gene Clark, Roger McGuinn and David Crosby.
Lyrics
"Eight miles high and when you touch down
You'll find that it's stranger than known
Signs in the street that say where you're going
Are somewhere just being their own
Nowhere is there warmth to be found
Among those afraid of losing their ground
Rain gray town known for its sound
In places small faces unbound
Round the squares huddled in storms
Some laughing some just shapeless forms
Sidewalk scenes and black limousines
Some living, some standing alone"
For comparison
