My Wife and I take our kids to Honduras every year to visit my Mother. This really sucks now that we can't go back until next year. All we have are good memories of the crazy guy walking around with a bunch of fireworks on his back ( He is called the bull of fire or El Toro de Fuego). This is an old Spanish colonial Tradition celebrating a week of festivities from the festival of Saint Mark. The festival of San Marcos De Ocotepeque. Have a carnival, they select a female Queen and king of the coffee festival. Yes, you see military police walking around with assault weapons because there isn't really any municipal police to speak of.
