I'd seen their material for awhile, it's competent science, done a quite high level, I've actually found some of it quite impressive...I don't necessarily think at lack of recognition is what prompts a gravitationally centric view of cosmology, it's that ever since the time of Eddington, Hubble, and ithers the sheer longevity about gravitational topics, combined with the completion of a relativistic viewpoint about motion, not merely by Einstein, as is so stereotypically viewed, but also be HA Lorentz, Dirac, Fermi, at flawed WW2 German "genius" Heisenberg, as well as de Broglie for matter wavelength of de Broglie waves, and also Schrödinger, rather displaced the earlier prominence of James Clerk Maxwell, and let's also not forger Ernst Bohr, and Madame Curie...I think the science discussed on their website will eventually assume a pretty fair level of prominence. I can rather thoroughly understand their viewpoint, that a good deal of cosmology is, in fact, electrically based. Such developments tend to go in rather a series of fits and starts, certain developments were necessary for other developments to be deemed opportune for development, the development of a relativistic approach, as well as of a quantum mechanical (QM) approach, I think, were entirely necessary before an electric perspective could regain prominence.. Then, too, there is the physics of solid state, spectroscopy, and statistical physics...as I'd said, their website does bring up numerous valuable topics, I just think they'd need some time to gain prominence, that's all ...

Introducing new concepts in theoretical physics often results in something akin to heretical maligning. People in the field do not want to give credence to new ideas when not enough people are willing to consider new possibilities that do not comfortably fit into what has become theory and may challenge accepted theory in ways that require redefining of it. After all, 100 years is not so long, really, when it comes to all the work needed to establish agreed upon theory. So it is not easy to establish a collaborative clear path forward to accommodate new information and figure out how it fits into what is already known. There is a lot of work between "what if" and the simplicity of an elegant algorithm which defines a new concept and legitimizes it especially if it requires redefining of what is known!

I follow, believe me, I'm well aware of the views of Einstein on new ideas in physics, the electric universe site and YouTube videos are good science, very good, I entirely fathom your point, honest, I do know what they have is very real, and quite serious, in fact I agree with a good deaomofmit, and am in fact convinced by it, given all themprev physics, !ath, and emgrg I studied, honest....

Myself, I have a lot of interest in new, credible research and find too much of the resistance being associated with competitive self-interest that is entrenched in research institutions. I suppose some, even most of the resistance to considering new research might be associated with fear of losing government funding (i.e. government approval and control).

Perhaps, however, as I'd said, I'd found a good deal of the electric universe !material quite credible, certainly, creative, in fact, as well as quite original, though I quite understand your point, certainly....
