If I'm not mistaken, haven't they already developed some material that "bends" light to practically make a cloak of invisibility? Perhaps leaps are being made in this area? Will we soon have Predator-like cloaking?

If you read the article, it's not based on hiding physical troops. When you key a radio, or use other electronic devices, you can be found with direction finders that focus on those transmissions. Even if I can't physically see you, I can find the origination point of those electronic signals.

Electronic camouflage, and a trailer to carry all of the batteries. Oops and an EMP just wiped out my cloak of invisibility.
