Ellen DeGeneres defends friendship with George Bush

It is poetic that Ellen's fan base and friends went after her. Did you see any stories about anyone on the conservative side going after Bush for sitting with Ellen? Nope. The left is being consumed by hate for anyone not ideologically in lock step with them.

Frankly, people like Ellen fuel this. She has had 3 years to ask people to tone down the rhetoric on Trump to call out Antifa's violence etc. She has done nothing that I have seen. Only whey she is called out does she respond. It was the correct response but it says a lot that her fans and followers are so filled with hate and rage that merely sitting with and talking with someone deserves a rebuke.
