If it's on the internet it has to be true, right? So easy to scare the crap out of people with phony stuff. I don't know what this guy's motive would be but it's often money. The phony evangelicals have been robbing weak-minded and desperate people for ages. We've all seen them on the local channels, but they've been mainstream for years. Old folks that are almost destitute, that are dying slowly, will give their last dime to these crooks. There was one in E. NC in early 80's named Jim Whittington. He was from Greenville NC and had a short segment on a local channel once a week. I can hear his voice now, telling people to draw an outline of their hand and mail it to him along with a small "love offering" and they would be healed. He would also touch the camera and encourage the audience to place their hand on his on the screen, and they too would be healed. A co-worker aboard MCAS Cherry Point had a cousin that worked on his revival bus. He shared that he had come across a section inside where the seats were removed. He opened the trap door and found a compartment filled with crutches, canes, and walkers. They would be distributed to healthy old folks for their "miracle march" to the stage after which they were healed and could once again walk back to their seat. If there is a God he likely has a special place in hell for those that profit from spreading His name.
