Evan has been saying this for a while, he's a fine vote for Utah, but not in any other State. He is also only campaigning in Utah. Utah is key as it is so red, a split Republican vote will still not generate enough votes for the State to go blue. So Evan's vote in Utah cannot possibly help Hillary win. What it does is reduce Trump by 6 points so if he doesn't get 270 Paul Ryan will choose (HOR) the next president out of the 3 candidates. Just don't vote for a third party if you are outside of Utah, it is a wasted vote or at least a risky vote to thumb your nose at the establishment. Best case scenario Trump is chosen by the House to be the president, worst case Hillary gets 270 regardless of Evan. It's a no risk option for Evan in Utah. Outside of Utah there are lots of problems with him.

That is just the thing it doesn't benefit Hillary as there is no way she'll get an electoral vote out of Utah, outside Utah in the swing states voting for him is a bad thing as states may be swung. The votes that Trump looses to Evan don't give her any more votes. Considering he has no following outside Utah it's not that big of an issue.
