This is like the planned parenthood federal funding arguement wrt abortion. If I free up $6B in spending power, that means I can spend what I needed for food and medicine on terrorism, nuclear weapon research, etc.

MSG Billy Brumfield What he refuses to pick up on or admit, is that these funds were frozen for a purpose. We all know what purposes drive freezing the Iranian assets. Whether it was their money at one time or not is irrelevant. The fact is, we had the power to control it and we gave up that power to appease a nuclear seeking, terrorist supporting regime. When the Biden admin has to rationalize behind statement like “it can only be used for food or medicine” it only leads us to think, so we’ve freed up their spending power to divert other funds to nuclear weapon research and terrorism. This is not rocket science. We need to stop making excuses for Iran as they’ve proven time and time again, they have no interest in halting their pursuit of nuclear weapons and they have no desire to stop facilitating the brutal murder of innocent Israelis and Americans.
