Why would Brennan feel the need to attack the President for McCabe's firing? Trump didn't fire McCabe. McCabe was fired on the recommendation of the DOJ Inspector General (an Obama appointee) for lying under oath, and for interfering in an FBI investigation into Hillary's emails.
So the question is what is Brennan afraid of. McCabe has already stated he isn't going down alone. I believe when the rest of this comes to the surface, you'll find that is was Brennan who was calling for all the 'unmasking' and surveillance of U.S. citizens using Ambassador Susan Rice's name. You'll probably also learn that it was Brennan who falsified the Trump Docket to the FISA Court as representing actual intelligence.
Brennan has good reasons to be afraid, and the IGs office isn't anywhere near complete with this investigation.

Bingo. Trump did not fire McCabe. Either Brennan is an idiot or trying to create a distraction. He is one of the establishment creatures that has spent his entire life working in the government and now finds himself on the outside looking in and there may be a few things he did on the way out that are questionable. Trying to damage Trump and his administration is likely self serving. Brennan must know how this went down and still plays fast and loose with the facts.

Cpl Jeff N. - As far as the firing of Comey, anyone remember this excerpt from rod Rosenstein's letter which resulted in the President firing him?
"Although the President has the power to remove an FBI director, the decision should not be taken lightly. I agree with the nearly unanimous opinions of former Department officials. The way the Director handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong. As a result, the FBI is unlikely to regain public and congressional trust until it has a Director who understands the gravity of the mistakes and pledges never to repeat them. Having refused to admit his errors, the Director cannot be expected to implement the necessary corrective actions."

The "deep state" is a conspiracy theorist daydream. Can't solve our national problems? Make up a label and blame someone rather than actually work to solve the problems.
There is no "deep state" and the label is nothing more than a distraction, a blame game. Folks need to take off the tinfoil hats and come into the real world.

Let’s see, voted for a Communist and then there is this strong connection with the Chinese and familiar connections with Brit analyst groups (Steele Dossier. Yeah, his skirts are clean. No reason to doubt this POS. Wait a minute, that’s the description of Trump voters as noted by one of our illustrious FBI agents.
