Ex-coworker says employer would not fire 'unhinged' Orlando terrorist because he was Muslim

Okay, this story is going to be a lightning rod for debate. Some will dismiss it summarily because of the source. Others will argue that it is an unsubstantiated allegation from a disgruntled employee. So what? It sounds plausible to think that the employer would not fire an unhinged employee because he was Muslim. Why? Political correctness. While we vent our passion arguing over Muslims and gun rights, we may be missing the real issue: Political Correctness. This assault on our freedom of speech forces us to ignore what may be the real issues, the ones we must address.
