Extremely Disheartening....I would consider it an honor to even be offered a chance to attend West Point. But not if the standards have fallen this far.

Interesting article. I'm headed up to West Point this weekend for my 15 year reunion. Staying with a Prof who has taught there for years. Will be interesting to hear from a multitude of staff/faculty. Happy to share any feedback I receive. Thanks for posting!

I, too, would be interested in knowing if this is how other members of the staff see it, or if LTC Heffington is just disgruntled with the Army for some reason. The fact that LTC Heffington pulled the pin at 20 years on the dot tends to cause a little caution on my part.
