Just making sure, when the last President went to Walter Reed to visit wounded service members it was a meaningless photo op but when the current one does something like this it's Presidential? Do I have that right?

SPC Randy Semanko - MoH recipient Florent Groberg would say Reed. But that wouldn't fit into your narrative, would it?

PO2 Robert Aitchison, the article states, "A brief search of news articles showed that former President Obama had almost as many engagements with the military during his first month in office."
Cpl Joshua Caldwell made no comments, disparaging or otherwise, about Obama in his introductory narrative.
So, it would appear to me that your comment is unnecessarily defensive. It's like trying to return a punch that hasn't been thrown.

Not sure how smart it is to put operators' faces out there...

The article said it was private and that they didn't publish the photos. They usually don't publicize operator photos, although I have seen photos of award ceremonies for operators in SF Groups.

Not very smart at all ... and that is why it was a private ceremony and pictures were not released to the fake news media or the real deal media. The fake news media is the category that have their panties in a knot over the meet and greet. Too bad, so sad.
