It would be nice to think a plane can be designed to DO IT ALL. Maybe the F-35 can and will prove very adept at doing just that. I'm old school jets, and I'm from Missouri. Show me!!!

SCPO (Join to see) initially they wanted it to do everything, and that's why they kept running into issues with it. Once they realized they should focus on specific areas on each variant, it has made quick advances in readiness.
