You tell your students at University of New Mexico that you are a combat veteran from Iraq. While recovering from your injuries in hand to hand combat you came up with the motto "baptized in fire and blood, we have come out steel"
In reality;
1. You never passed MP School you were discharged on 12/19/90 during your USOT (Basic and AIT together).
2. ON 4/24/96 you went AWOL from Ft Carson, so you would not have to deploy with your unit to Iraq.
3 11/22/96 you were dishonorably discharged due to going AWOL while your unit deployed to Iraq.
