Facebook abandons flying internet plan

I have mixed feelings about this, glad a private investor Paid for this and the resultant technological advancements, but who would have had the expensive devices on the ground. As I understand it they are also trying lighter than air technology. Basically private industry is leaving government in the dust, at no cost to me by way of taxation.
