The comical part of this is that they're trying act like the data was 'stolen'. Facebook is a data collector and, to them, that data is capital. They market and sell that information to maintain their revenue stream.

They may very well do the same. I don't know, but assume it's likely they are. The issue to me isn't data collection; or marketing the data collected. It's Facebook putting on this quasi-victim act and trying to convince the world that the data on their users was somehow stolen.
