There has been a war opposing the Second Amendment extending from the time in which it was written and proposed to this day. Sadly, the opponents are totally obtuse. They cannot fathom the concept that their war on the Second Amendment is a war on every person's fundamental human right, indeed obligation, to defend themselves. If you accept the validity of the Commandment "Thou shalt not murder" or any form of that statement as formulated by any other religion or even non-religious group, then you must acknowledge that murder is wrong and we all have an obligation to prevent it.
