Pence won the debate because he was more polished and didn't interrupt AS MUCH (he still interrupted quite a bit).
That said, he didn't win by much, I would put it at 55/45, mainly because Pence didn't do his primary job, which was defending Donald Trump. Kaine attacked Trump continuously, and Pence did nothing to answer the many attacks. Pence also attacked Clinton, but Kaine responded and defended his running mate.
Overall, nobody's mind was likely changed. I doubt anyone who has taken in and believes the 25-year-long anti-Clinton smear of the right will vote for Hillary Clinton. Likewise I highly doubt anyone who doesn't accept a childish campaign of insults, racism, misogyny and hate speech will change their mind and vote for Donald Trump.

If they were both on fire, and I had a glass of water, I would drink the water. I am of the opinion that they are both a complete and total waste of human flesh. Neither should be acceptable to the American People.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - I would use all of the water, and everything else at my disposal to make sure that Donald Trump loses, and loses BIG.

Vice Presidential candidates are not supposed to discuss issues. They're attack dogs. It's been that way ever since vice presidential candidates became running mates with presidential candidates.

CPT Jack Durish that may be, but last night was just one more cog on the wheel of ridiculousness that has been election 2016.

"Clinton and Kaine are running an insult driven campaign worse than Trump." - Pence
Wow! Equating HRC's "basket of deplorables" comment to every comment made by Trump towards women, Hispanics specifically Mexicans, Blacks, Clinton, Obama, journalists, veterans, Muslims, even a baby and mother at one of his rallies. Yes Clinton is running an insult driven campaign.
