"Fake News Is Propaganda" is the title of this piece from InHomelandSecurity.com which is a newsletter distributed by American Military University & American Public University System. This isn't a 'new' topic per se, but should be repeated enough due to its importance. By definition propaganda is "ideas, statements or information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view; or damage an opponent through same." Keep this in mind as the web has given voice to every opinion across the spectrum and we, the recepients, must be more diligent in exposing and filtering what is real and what is fake to prevent ourselves from becoming unwitting disseminators of a propaganda campaign.
