On the one hand, I can see how someone may have forgotten to revoke his clearance given that he as retiring. On the other, process should be in place to prevent that from happening.

If it happened he can whine to POTUS and get it back and pardoned using Clinton as an excuse, it’s worked before. Yeah apples an oranges, but next thing you know convicted murders will be going after the same reason for are pardon. You know Clinton kills people too!
