CNN already looks really bad. I will give Jake Tapper his props for taking the Sheriff of Broward County to task with some tough questions and follow ups the other night.

Tucker Carlson who interviewed the kid about the staged questions the other night and the kid said he was given the questions also ran spoke about this apparent change in what the father said. Tucker went to the source, asked the questions and when the story changed (from the source) he ran that as well.

Whether the father omitted (either intentionally or unintentionally) or not, should not be much of an issue when it comes to such controversial subjects. Especially since most if not all networks will use statements and questions submitted before the event as a screening tool. When used in this manner as a screening tool, they end up with what they want instead of what should probably be presented to the public. In other words, if it does not fit the agenda of the sponsor of the "town hall," it is used to either support their agenda, or not used at all. What the bottom line is - it (the so-called town hall) was scripted.
