FBI and CIA give differing accounts to lawmakers on Russia’s motives in 2016 hacks

Comey was hesitant to sign on to the letter from all intel agencies re: hacking. Who knows what was really going on. Many theories out there but I doubt that more than the principals actually know the whole story. Some say McConnell was gaming Comey as their ace in the hole. Way above my paygrade so no need to add to it with my spin. Lots of people domestically and globally stand to make money, gain real estate, and shift wealth, domestic rights and programs so I'd imagine they were "all in" for the win. That argument can be made for either side though, so absent facts all we have is theories. Worst case scenario against the win is a takeover of our government but good luck proving that and it's not something I'd want to go on record s supporting if I wanted to be around much longer. Time will tell but none of these inquiries or similar will scratch the surface. Folks that enjoy that dialogue are asking why the MI recount was challenged and blocked so hard. I'm content with watching from afar and trying to employ damage control if that's even possible. If we start to see the Baltic region and others shift as well as Ukraine then there's your answer, with more to come.
