COL (Join to see) And - Doctor Giwa, what is your take on this vaccine?
You will accept a vaccination ASAP as available to you?

I take care of covid patients every time I work as an ICU nurse and my biggest fear is bringing it home to my wife and kids plus my parents moving in with us next month. I work as a paramedic tomorrow and sometimes get those calls there. The risk to my well being for adverse effects are worth it to me if it can help keep my family healthy. Am I a little concerned, yes. Strangest disease I have seen someone die from in my 17year career. I chose to be an ICU nurse, my family and friends did not, and I need to step up and continue to lead here. I absolutely recommend those at high risk take it and if you do not feel you are at that risk, holding off might be an option. I will guess from the uniform you are pictured in you are probably at least in your 60s and the people that age that get really sick and on ventilators usually visit the morgue before the cemetery.

Yes sir! I’ve studied the science and trust the data and have confidence in the process. My risk benefit assessment gives me confidence that at my age (mid 50s) the short term benefits outweigh risks. Will my genitals start to fall off in my 70’s due to the vaccine? Possibly. But I’ll be in good company... this is a completely new technology and we will not know long term for years. Given what mRNA does it’s unlikely there will be something long term but I’m willing to benefit short term at the expense of my later years.
If I was in my 20-30s I might not take it so soon, except as a public health measure.

The ball is starting to move downhill. Will there be a money trail to follow?

SPC(P) (Join to see) There's no need at a young age unless your sickly which I take it you're not but we still don't have all the evidence or much evidence about coronaviruses in general outside of the cold. We took what we learnt from SARS an MERS an applied it to COVID-19. An we've learnt the strict containment methods that broke transmission with the other two doesn't work for this. The point of the vaccine is to build up her immunity so the transmission rate is way below the RN of 1. If you have something that spreads slowly among the community or spreads next to nothing there is no need to alter daily life as we've done for the last 9 months.

PFC (Join to see) I just miss the days of H1N1 where if you were sick you stayed home, people washed their hands and threw the occasional party so everyone in the neighborhood would hurry up and get it over with.

SPC(P) (Join to see) the flu isn't as deadly as this an more Americans were infected. The H1N1 pandemic last 12-16 months an a grand total of 66.8 million americans were infected I believe but only 12-1600 died we were very lucky. If H1N1 was alot more deadly we would have locked down. We're pushing 300,000 covid deaths. That was different as well because we already had a flu vaccine we just needed to modify. I got the H1N1 vaccine in school an I was fine.

PFC (Join to see) covid deaths have been greatly exaggerated. The CDC slowed its death count by over 50 thousand over night. I know many hospital admins and nurses. And they have confirmed that they hospital gets money from each covid related death from the government to "help" with care. Nurses say they treat people for broken bones in the ER and so.ehow covid just "magically appears" on their medical records. Dont trust the numbers. It's all about money and control.
