As long as the dog is properly trained, there should not be any issues.

I kinda had this mentality going into my marriage. I discovered early on it wasn't me doing the training.

I’m confused here, you are saying you don’t want a service dog sitting next to you if it’s a bull breed?
Why?
If it’s a trained service dog then what’s the problem?
Yes, people abuse this, yes it is easy to tell the difference when the dog is untrained and the owner hasn’t a clue how to control the dog.
Yes, you can ask the same two questions that businesses are allowed to ask and generally get a good feel for if the dog is actually a service dog or not, most people that are abusing the system don’t know how to properly answer the questions or do so in such a way that it shows right away.

My daughter owns two of these dogs. I did my best to accept them until they ganged up and killed her older dog two years ago. I don't spend much time at the house now. I was there when it all happened and got in the middle of trying to pull them off but it was too late. I went with my son-in-law taking poor Scooby to the vet. Scooby passed not long after we arrived.
I don't think I need to say what my husband wanted to do with the Pits. He refuses to step foot in the house unless both are locked up.
