I am assuming this reporter has his facts correctly laid out...

This is another great example of poor police work and evidence being "found" that supports the conclusion. The judge was likely given the false test reports on the THC findings as well as the "evidence" in their garbage along with the purchase of the hydroponic items. Any school project would not be enough material to start or operate a growth operation.

A casual surveillance of the home could have easily crossed it off the list of possible growth operations. Lazy, lazy, lazy. A state with too much authority, time and the inclination to create crime where it does not exist is a threat to liberty for us all.

I suspect someone will be losing their job over this and hopefully this family gets a very nice settlement over the embarrassment humiliation and the threat to their well being. People coming into your home with weapons drawn could have ended poorly even for law abiding folks that might have thought it was a home invasion.
