Female Army Guardsman Reflects On Historic Graduation from Ranger School

Glad the intestinal fortitude was displayed to pass but what value does this have for their MOS's? Why didnt the state give the slots to an 11 series and send these 2 to advance schooling in their field. Unless the Army has changed, do medics lead patrols now? When I went through only qualified 11, 18 series or soldiers assigned to Ranger Rgt could attend. Just throwing this out as were spending enough money and see a better use of dollars for career progression.
