I suppose the children of the 1960s would be awed to see a trillion lightning flashes in an hour while they partook of recreational drugs SSgt (Join to see)
I expect somebody would come up with a soundtrack which accompany this experience. Earlier SGT John " Mac " McConnell had posted in-a-gadda-da-vida which might be part of the mix.

Anyone who sails in the vicinity of Panama will be awed by several hundred lightning strikes an hour. It's pretty awesome.

Electrical charges from nucleii clashing and the friction from those particles provide pathways for LTG strikes. Add sea-oriented cities with the LCLs being higher and the mixing from that and salt, it is no wonder. Tampa sees some crazy LTG strikes ICCGCC and so forth. SN Greg Wright
