SGT (Join to see) - Context matters. Most of the "rednecks" I have known enjoy the title and generally aren't put off by anyone using it. On the other hand, no one likes being called something when the word is spoken in anger, meant to demean, to intimidate, or to provoke. Some words have become uniformly pejorative, so should not be used.
