Final Salute

When you hear about homeless veterans, what do you picture in your head? Most of us picture white males ages 50 and up, but did you know that women veterans are 2-3 times more likely to be homeless than any other group in the U.S. adult population? Admittedly, I didn't know this but now that I am aware, I've decided to compete in Ms. Veteran America to become an advocate for these women.
