Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on June 23, 1915 the Italian army attacked Austro-Hungarian Empire positions near the Isonzo River, in the eastern section of the Italian front, after a one-week bombardment. DUPLICATE entry

Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on June 23, 1915 the Italian army attacked Austro-Hungarian Empire positions near the Isonzo River, in the eastern section of the Italian front, after a one-week bombardment. While the Austro-Hungarian Empire seemed unconcerned about the nation of Italy entering the war on the side of the Entente allies and it was difficult to shift forces, the mere fact of a one week bombardment should have been sufficient grounds to alert the Austro-Hungarians.
