MSG Richard Clowers - I also saw USMC Gen. Allen at (D) convention. He got loud but not as accusing or direct. I still thought it inappropriate for a retired officer. They thought it was a done deal so he probably saw a job in his future. Not a big MacArthur fan but he nailed it when he said "old soldiers never die; they just fade away" when he spoke to Congress. He didn't exactly fade away and tried to run for POTUS, but it still applies.

CWO3 (Join to see) - - Agree. Too many retired General Officers these days looking for that ladder to transition to politics. MacArthur was a military genius, but sometimes not smart enough to follow his own advice.

I expect charges will be minimal. A token show of support to appease the public which is fed up with government corruption which so happens to mostly be associated with the Democrats... which is undeniable. They’ll sacrifice a few people to show that they’re in touch with the public but I suspect that those most responsible at the top will avoid the consequence of their lies and corruption. Personally, I won’t be satisfied until charges stick on Obama and Hillary.

Captain, I don't believe we would ever see that. Too much water under the bridge ... and most of them are drinking the "swamp" water. We've created a government that is too big to control.

I have a feeling they're going to put the screws to whomever they charge to get them to flip.

"proof that it was actually the DNC who were clouding?" Who colluded and with what Russians? They piggybacked on an oppo research effort started by (R)s with Fusion GPS, that to my knowledge had no involvement with any Russians. It was funded originally by (R) donor and hedge fund manager Paul Singer and ran by Washington Free Beacon. Once they saw Trump was the nominee the (D)s retained Fusion GPS and started picking up the tab. Chris Steele did research in Russia but to my knowledge that's as close as anyone from DNC got to Russia. There are some issues with the Podesta Group that are unanswered and they need to be. There were no meetings with Russians such as the one with people acting on behalf of the Prosecutor General of Russia at Trump Tower. Or at least we aren't aware of them, so we don't know. I'm trying to be patient and see what comes of this, but if I'm missing something I'd rather know about it then not. I don't care which way this goes but we need to be honest about it meanwhile. It matters too much not to.
