If we want shit like this to stop happening, we need to end this culture of hyper masculinity and listen to our fellow women service members when they report, not sweep it under the rug or call them names and isolate them further. That more than any punishment will change things for the better.

This isn't about "hyper masculinity" This is assholes being assholes pure and simple. They have no respect for anyone not even themselves. This is not caused by masculinity this is caused by crappy parents raising crappy kids and then fostering them on the rest of the world. Want it to end? Demand parents raise their kids with some morals and values.

It can't just come from parents raising their kids. Peers need to help each other out. Society doesn't just get better by parents teaching their kids, it also comes from respect and mutual understanding. People have different values and morals, whims to say what is right unless we all agree on some basic ones.
