I tend to shy away from Kimber. They have put out some turds over the last couple years at way too much money. For my shorts gun I have a .32 Beretta Tomcat. The .32 is a hot round and when I put it in my front pocket you can't even tell it is there.

What's the magazine capacity on it?

~ Edit: Oh, and let me know how you like it once you receive it and put a few hundred rounds through it!

My EDC is a Glock 43, so I'm already used to very small guns. The 43 is part of Glock's "slim line" series, smaller than their subcompact models.

PO1 John Miller the micro series is a 6+1, but they sell a seven round magazine which extends below the magazine well for folks with bigger hands. On my micro, I find no difference in how I shoot whether using the 6 or the 7 round mags. My biggest problem is that it does not like feeding range ammo. I have found good defensive ammo that works great, but the range ammo is constantly failing to feed. The plus is I have become a master at clearing a jam. In the interest of full disclosure, I have been advised to contact Kimber on that, but have not had the opportunity as of yet to do so.

So same capacity as my Glock. What I like about Glock is it will feed any ammo you put in it. I've never had a failure to feed/fire in mine regardless of what ammo I use. I shoot steel-cased Wolf ammo at the range.

PO1 John Miller - I have been thinking about acquiring a glock as I would really like .40 for EDC, Have never fired the 23, not sure how angry a .40 will be in a compact.

I think I would rather have the .380 due to my build. But awesome regardless.
