Who opens fire on a school? Terrible people in this world. Bet if our nation had open carry mandatory for all of its citizens, people would think twice about doing this kind of shit

I dunno, I don't think I want any Antifa/BAMN types carrying. I'd settle for allowing teachers to be armed, and requiring each school to have at least two teachers or staff per 100 students on location who are armed and trained whenever school is in session.

Don't school administrators have any responsibility for students' safety? Do they even care? Schools are advertised as "gun free zones" which translates to "free fire zones" for criminals, It's time for school boards & administrators to take charge & safeguard those in their care. Only good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns.

SPC John Parmenter - The thing is, school boards and administrators have already taken charge, and in most cases that means buying into the gun-free zone mentality. Education attracts a lot of popular-theory-of-the-day types, and often they're not the brightest bulbs in the shed.

These tragedies can happen anywhere. Nevada, Texas, and now California.

They can happen in any state, certainly, but in each state the shootings are mostly limited to places where the shooters know the victims will be unarmed, so they don't really happen "anywhere."

Sadly once again people want to blame the gun. This guy could have used a knife and the stolen vehicle and we very well would have had the same amount of victims. Until as a nation we deal with the real issues and enforce laws we have and accept that man killing man has gone on since the begining of time and is not likely to change.
