I love how the story focuses on popular vote rather than electoral vote. That is the only one that actually counts. No one runs a campaign set up to win the popular vote. If they did, they would be pretty stupid.

Those who don't understand how U.S. Presidents are elected should read THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, Article II, Section 1. Popular vote, alone, is not a consideration.

Interesting read. Especially the authors pre-election thoughts. What it shows to me is that the American people are more than willing to throw out the ruling party if they fail to meet the needs of the people. Its a very important lesson that politicians fail to realize time and time again.
