I've come to believe that the rebels are on the right side of this. There are no significant US interests involved in this conflict and the best thing we can do is to try to mediate the dispute holding all sides to account.

The best thing we can do is penalize scum like Putin for trying to steal parts of another nation, yet again, and let Ukraine into NATO to make sure the Putin understands we are serious. We made the mistake of letting totalitarian criminals like Putin i operate freely in the late 193Os and million died as a result. There is no need to repeat that mistake now.
