I saw Carol Burnett on Broadway when she played the "Princess" in Once Upon a Mattress. I still remember her climbing over the palace wall and first sight of her was her bare leg breaching the top. Of course, we went because the show's title was titillating, but it turned out to be an innocent comedy, a very funny comedy. Her TV show was always funny
