The longer the 'investigation' goes on, the less likely it is that anyone will serve time for anything other than the possibility of those charged or to be charged with manslaughter. The lesser included charges of malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance that could be brought against city officials and EPA officials will likely fall to the wayside other than perhaps those appointed to be the scapegoats as is the practice in high profile political cases.
Thanks for the human interest side of the crisis now five years old, Captain Conyers. Hopefully we will see better progress this year.
