Florida school shooting survivor: Media using tragedy to push gun control

Sgt Wayne Wood - Perhaps not manipulation so much as supporting the agenda of gun control with their money. Just like people supporting and well-funding the NRA. Of course the media, both sides, use tragedies to push their agenda. On the other hand, perhaps instead of "thoughts and prayers" this could start a rational debate on what can we do, rather than both extreme positions. I don't have much hope for it, but possibly. I would love to see the Congress and country have a sane discussion with total right, left, and in the middle in a sit-down discussion because I don't think either extreme side tries to see the others' viewpoints, do you?

Susan Foster you are truly a mediator. I concur with exactly your articulation. But, I would like to say I am not an extremist Christian Believer by any means. I know prayer and solutions falling out of Heaven does not happen in that way. But,vi also know that teachers weilding guns is crazy. If man's power and existence is all that really exists why isn't that soverign power having more positive influence to bring peaceful conversations among varied believers to solve the world problems? I get it we live in a tangible world with tangible people. Sgt Wayne Wood you have a strong insight, what is your take on all of it? I firmly believe in my religious beliefs coupled with people who have hearts if intelligence, wisdom, and compassion.

A true discussion with rational goals? Sure... i just get tired of getting someone else’s agenda shoved up my ass...

Somewhere in all of "this" the right leader is rising up from the ashes.
