For those that do not know. Todays Diesels are Diesel-Electrics and have been since they were invented almost back in the 1940's-1950's. There is no mechanical drive between the Diesel and the motors that spin the wheels. Instead the Diesel is a giant generator and the wheels are turned via Electric Motors that the giant Generator produces. So basically this is just a replacement of the Diesel Power Plant. I actually think the Hydrogen Cell Locomotives that Canadian Pacific is experimenting with probably have more promise but we'll see.

It's that time again when we get all that stuff to go to the accountant and I see something like this. Makes me wonder just how much it's going to cost taxpayers.

It’s free. Everything the government gives away wont cost anything. It’s always deficit neutral.

I had "N"guage trains when I was younger. I gave them to my son and he played for hours on end with them. Great entertainment for a five year old boy on rainy days.
