They're not unconcerned. Investigations are taking place and have been for some time. Thus far, Flynn has not been found doing anything illegal. The problem is, it is HIGHLY illegal to leak this information and the means used to collect it. There is a mole, not a whistle blower and these leaks absolutely need to stop. If it continues, the American people will lose faith in our intelligence agencies, along with our government.

I would guess that there are SJW moles in every agency at this point. The problem is that they probably don't even think of themselves as moles.

I am on the record as saying LTG Flynn was wrong. However, once again the progressive/democrat outrage machine really shouldn't be throwing stones at glass houses.
From Michael Ledeen, PJ Media, August 2014
"The actual strategy is detente first, and then a full alliance with Iran throughout the Middle East and North Africa. It has been on display since before the beginning of the Obama administration. During his first presidential campaign in 2008, Mr. Obama used a secret back channel to Tehran to assure the mullahs that he was a friend of the Islamic Republic, and that they would be very happy with his policies. The secret channel was Ambassador William G. Miller, who served in Iran during the shah’s rule, as chief of staff for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and as ambassador to Ukraine. Ambassador Miller has confirmed to me his conversations with Iranian leaders during the 2008 campaign."
Was this okay as well? Where was the progressive/democrat outrage when it was revealed a former ambassador was doing this before an election? Or did it just get thrown by the wayside because, gasp, Number 44 could do anything because he was the smartest, bestest guy ever to occupy the White House?

When the DNC emails were released, it did not matter to them how the information was obtained. The important thing was that the information was available for everyone to see. Now it's all about how the information was obtained and not what the information is.

CPT Adam P.
LTC Trent Klug - What would you call it? This is what US Psyop does.
PSYOPS or Psychological Operations: Planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations, groups, and individuals. The purpose of psychological operations is to induce or reinforce foreign attitudes and behavior favorable to the originator's objectives. Also called PSYOP. See also consolidation psychological operations; overt peacetime psychological operations programs; perception management. (Source: U.S. Department of Defense)
Psychological Operations are a vital part of the broad range of U.S. political, military, economic, and ideological activities used by the U.S. government to secure national objectives. PSYOP is the dissemination of truthful information to foreign audiences in support of U.S. policy and national objectives.
Used during peacetime, contingencies, and declared war, these activities are not a form of force, but are force multipliers that use nonviolent means in often violent environments. Persuading rather than compelling physically, they rely on logic, fear, desire or other mental factors to promote specific emotions, attitudes or behaviors. The ultimate objective of U.S. military psychological operations is to convince enemy, neutral, and friendly nations and forces to take action favorable to the United States and its allies.
Psychological operations support national security objectives at the tactical, operational and strategic levels of operations.
Strategic psychological operations advance broad or long-term objectives. Global in nature, they may be directed toward large audiences or at key communicators.
Operational psychological operations are conducted on a smaller scale. They are employed by theater commanders to target groups within the theater of operations. Their purpose can range from gaining support for U.S. operations to preparing the battlefield for combat.
Tactical psychological operations are more limited, used by commanders to secure immediate and near-term goals. In this environment, these force-enhancing activities serve as a means to lower the morale and efficiency of enemy forces.
Both tactical and theater-level psychological operations may be used to enhance peacetime military activities of conventional and special operations forces operating in foreign countries. Cultural awareness packages attune U.S. forces before departing overseas. In theater, media programs publicize the positive aspects of combined military exercises and deployments.
In addition to supporting commanders, psychological operations provide interagency support to other U.S. government agencies. In operations ranging from humanitarian assistance to drug interdiction, psychological operations enhance the impact of actions taken by those agencies. Their activities can be used to spread information about ongoing programs and to gain support from the local populace.

First of all, I would call it absolute stupidity on the democrats part, especially for a former presidential chief of staff to a) give up his password in a phishing scheme, and b) to not report the hacking after they found out it occurred. Second, the democrat candidate was an absolutely flawed individual who evoked about as much empathy or sympathy as a three week old road kill carcass. Third, no one but the faithful cared for, or voted for, the democrat candidate. Lastly, exactly whose behavior was changed? The country is split along political lines with about 45% of the country being dem; 45% being republican, and 10% independent.
So no. It definitely wasn't a PSYOP.

CPT Adam P. - As a former PSYOPer, we are NOT allowed to perform psychological operations on US citizens. That is a part of our doctrine and the punishment for that tends to be a little on the stiff side. It's nice that you looked up the CIA Worldbook definition of what PYSOP is but to not look...uninformed, ask the experts. We aren't hard to find

SSG Michael Hartsfield - I did not mean to imply that the US was conducting PSYOP, I was saying Russia conducted a PSYOP on US citizens. I'm not an expert, nor was I in PSYOP, but I was assigned to 1st IO on an assessment team and I went through all of their training on all five pillars of IO. As a cyber security professional, I used IO techniques that mimicked adversary techniques during training exercises across the Army and DoD.
