Thanks for reminding us SP5 Mark Kuzinski that one-on-one networking is one of the best ways for veterans to make progress in establishing a post-service career and moving up.

Have to agree with LTC Stephen Ford. One-on-one networking is best. Utilize the veteran conferences for information and contacts. If one has a security clearance, there are jobs available as well. People have "to work the room to get what they want."

Networking is a learned skill. I would suggest Dr. Ivan Misner's "29% Solution" as a guide for your networking plan.
