For the Love of Pete, People, Stop Eating Tide Pods

It's just another entry in the long line of self-harm challenges that have sprung up on the Internet. People care more about going viral than displaying common sense. We've had kids choking each other until someone blacks out challenge. We've had the light yourself on fire challenge. We've had the medicine cabinet challenge where kids just grabbed a handful of whatever was in the cabinet and eat it.

Social media has killed self preservation.

While on one hand, I see this challenge as completely and utterly idiotic (to put it mildly), I also see it as future Darwin Award winners (or at least Honorable Mentions). I want to find the very first person that started this and Gibb Slap the living Hell out of them.

Let them munch on. It will think the herd. Anyone stupid enough to eat tide pods probably shouldn't be among normal, functioning people.
