Charlie very moving, especially the part at the end the honor guard folding the flag. Then the SEALs putting their tridents in the box. I think once I was a tough guy but now I dont do well at funerals for my brothers.

Charlie I glad you said that because that makes me feel better. Charlie one of the funerals for one of my guys my wife and I were able to attend. I was doing well, I thought, they played the ballad of the green beret and went into amazing grace on the pipes, I lost it. My poor wife did what she could to console me, I soaked my beret. He was the poster SF guy. Everywhere he went he would keep his team supplied with fresh game meat i.e. deer, elk, alligator etc... I was not on the deployment that he was killed on but I got the call about 0200 in the morning. I tried to go back to sleep but after a few minutes I got up and went to the office to get on the SIPR NET.
Charlie I cant imagine being an honor guard commander. Over the years a few things really kill me, ramp ceremonies, flag covered boxes on aircraft, amazing grace on the pipes, gun salutes, taps, and when the family is handed the flag. Hell I did not realize it but that is a pretty long list hahaha I feel like a sissy now hahaha.
