Leaders have to think beyond scores, they should think "what value does this person add to the organization?"
For example, Tom Brady was taken 199th (6th Rd) of the 2000 NFL draft. If Bob Kraft went by scores, he should have picked Chad Pennington, Giovanni Carmazzi, Chris Redman, Tee Martin, Marc Bulger, or Spergon Wynn before selecting Brady.
Always look for the good in people beyond what is on paper. You never know who will develop into a Champion.
